OP: Congratulations on finding a gender therapist! I hope the appointment goes well. Could you give us an update after and say how it went? I'm trying to find a gender therapist in my area right now, so I'd be really interested in how it goes.
From the research I've done, I think that you're going to have to come out to your Dad soon. Definitely before you get started on hormones. I don't know if its the same with your hormones, but I know that with T, the changes start getting noticeable within weeks. Also, coming out to your family is part of the process of transitioning, which I'm sure you know.
