My guess would be that for me, personally, it's being scared of the commitment that comes along with it. It's my first relationship, first kiss, first time doing anything sexual that wasn't online, etc. and it's terrifying. That fear makes me want to run back to the comfort zone of being single, being able to hop from guy-to-guy and do it "without getting my heart broken," etc., but I honestly couldn't be happier than I am right now. I'm very much in love with my partner, he's very much in love with me, and the mutual feelings we share for each other are incredible. There are pros and cons to each - being in a relationship and being single - so I guess I'd say that, at this point in time, as much as I love being in my relationship, as much as I love my boyfriend, my past would lead me to adjust to being single or to being in a relationship. Regardless of the situation, I think I can safely say I'd choose no one lifestyle over the other - odd as that may be....
