I stop. Initially, I usually shout, cry and hit things, screaming into a pillow is good too. As long as it's safe and somewhat controlled, I honestly do think that it's best to get the emotions out. I usually talk to people about it and then when I've got most of it out, I usually lie down and listen to music or get absorbed in painting or art, that can really relax me.
