Re: Miss My Cat - August 19th 2010, 12:04 PM

Alessa- Thank you so much. Unfortunatley, the blanket is the only thing I have to remind me of her and I had to fight my mom for it because she was close to the cat also. But in the end, I got the blanket and my mom got the blue bell that used to be on my cat's collar. I would love to have the blue bell too, but you know, my mom has to have something being as we lost my cat's toys a few years back and the blanket and bell are the only things left. I do have another cat now, his name is Chase and I adopted him from my grandpa's house when he was still very tiny. He looks just like my old cat used to, solid black fur, gold eyes, everything. He is still a kitten, but he has grown alot since I adopted him. I also have an old Calico cat named Chloe, but she's so old that I think she may very well die too pretty soon. I've had Chloe for about a year (I also adopted her from my grandpa but she was already very, very old) and I've had Chase for only a little bit over a month. I got him a short time after my other cat got out and disappeared. So both cats do help with the grief somewhat.

Joyce- I agree, losing a pet you've had for so long, especially for seven years, is very hard indeed. And I agree on the whole thing with the idiot neighboors and their pitbull too, but really, what can be done now? It's very mean indeed, but that is how people are in the town I live in. Nobody cares about others here where I live. Well, I wouldn't say that because I care and I live here. Plus, I know some other very considerate people who live here also. But still, the majority of the people are inconsiderate, incompassionate assholes who only give a damn about themselves.
