- Believe that Jesus is the son of God and that He was born to pay our ransom. Since we sin, we were following the devil (kind of "kidnapped" by the devil in a way- because we were God's children and the devil gave us original sin that made us unworthy of Heaven. He was trying to steal God's children and take them to hell), and Jesus died to pay the ransom to get us back.
- Tell Jesus that you accept His gift of forgivness and ask Him to come into your life and into your heart. Confess your faith in Jesus as your savior and lord. Give everything in your life over to Him, try your best to follow His ways (reading the bible helps you to know His ways, let me know if you need a bible, I can send you one), and stick with Him through everything. God never leaves you.
- Love Him, start a relationship with Him, and of course, mean all of these things. You can't just say them, you have to mean them.

Amazing. Cant even have a thread where we state what the differences are and discuss or even debate them. Yet, we can easily have a thread of preaching what the "truth" is and how to get it. That is what's most important though: preaching that you're right and this is the way, isn't it? Well, that's not something Catholicism differs from the other sects of Christianity, they all have preaching and more preaching.
