Hey there

It's very unlikely that a pill is getting stuck in your throat as there are muscles there to help push it down and it will dissolve. Also, most birth control pills don't cause side-effects such as throat or chest pain. It's most likely that the pain you're having is unrelated to the birth control, but it would be a good idea to call and talk to your doctor about it anyways. You may have caught some sort of throat infection, etc. and a doctor is the only person that can tell you for sure.
