Being serious though, they do take a little while to show up, but no more than a day, I would think. As for hiding them, I think scarves are usually best, since your hair can move fairly easily. And no one believes the "I burnt myself with a curling iron" story .

love bites? Why would anyone want to bite you? I am guessing it happened on your neck. If so, I guess leaving your hair down is best then. Hope it gets better.

"Love bite" is just a name. They are actually usually caused by excessively sucking/kissing one spot. And the neck is usually a fairly erogenous zone, so most people find it quite enjoyable.
