I'm not religious so I'm not sure if this is "right" or not, but you can still be a good Christian without having physically going to church. Many people are unable to go for mental and health reasons, and I think if it makes your uncomfortable and you try to be close to God and follow the rules of you're religion, you're doing good in his eyes.

Why not use the nets to find a christian support group you can talk to when you're not feeling comfortable going to church? Or independent bible study?
