Yes - your poor diet could be making you feel dizzy and/or faint. Your body uses food as fuel; and if it isn't getting enough then it simply doesn't have enough energy to operate.
You could be lacking in iron due to not eating much therefore you could have developed anemia.
You should go to your doctor and have a blood test taken if the dizziness continues; but also make sure you're getting your daily required caloric intake.
