Sparkles is right. You need to be there for him. No matter what he decides what sex he likes his feelings wont change because he loves you and cares about you as a best friend. He doesn't know what he wants. I wouldn't say he loves you as in intimate love but he loves you as a philos love. Let him decide first but don't rush him he needs lots of time to think about things.
