Anyhows ya I love emo.... especially emo guys... OMG talk about hott!!!!

Emo kids are trying to ruin the Chuck Taylor shoe, and I ... will ... not ... let ... them.

I'm alternative, so we also rock the Chucks, the black glasses, and track jackets. Though there are a lot of differences between alternative and emo: alt kids have tattoos, we don't whine, we smoke our problems, and we never wear studded belts or cropped pants. We use bigger words. We don't cry in public. We hate Death Cab for Cutie.

I hate the idea of emo music. It sounds cheap to me.

Emo guys are like the lowest rung of emo. Dyed black hair swept majestically across the forehead over one eye. He stands out on the sidewalk with his hands half inside his pants pockets because they're too tight to fit a whole hand in. And he's staring at the ground and making an obvious effort to appear deep and disturbed and "interesting". But I just wanna hit him in the face with my purse and tell him to stop shopping for pants in the same part of the mall as me.

Seeing as how you are all talking about Emo-boys and one has yet to actually to post, I'll try and fill in. I am widely known as an Emo, I really enjoy the style and I'm actually very proud to be known as Emo. This may sound silly I realize..but when I became known as Emo, I was allowed to express my emotions, the scene is welcoming of boys having emotions, and boys even crying.
(Yes I have dyed black hair, long bangs which I sometimes sweep over one side of my face, yes I am extremely emotional, yes I can be depressed easily, yes I listen to alot of Emo music and I stop listening to bands once they go mainstream, yes I write incredibly bad and depressing poetry. My t-shirt is tight and so are my pants *But they are boy pants..girl pants leave sometime to be desired in the pockets area* the only 'girl' piece of clothing I wear is my belt)

i LOOOOVE emo guys. there incredibly hott. emo is all i listen 2. i don't really dress it though. i think the studded belt is overdone.

as for gatsby, i bet u listen 2 emo and don't even relize it. seeing how closeminded u are and everthing.

I listen to emo music and I'm proud of it... But my music taste is still varied... I do listen to mainstream stuff too! and other genre's of music

I'm sorry, you got one Emo band there, MCR.Simpleplan and And Blink182 are not Emo, they do not have the style of either Rites of Spring nor Sunny Day Real Estate. Nor Embrace for that matter.

They are very much pop-punk. Or pop, or punk..or..

And 'Are only power chords guitarist' I have one word in response 'So?' Doesn't anyone remember the punk explosion in the 70s and 80s? Those were all Powerchord driven songs..remember 'You can play 3 cords, join a band!'. It is a simpler sort of music, focusing primarily on the vocals not complex guitar work
