That all sounds amazing - I know how you feel with regards to the job thing. I've looked into SEN roles as well as mental health support work/occupational therapy etc and even though I've got the qualifications for some of them I feel like I couldn't possibly be ready to do them. Maybe you can try volunteer work for a bit while you carry on at your dog role? I know it's not paid but you might find it's useful in boosting your confidence! Either way, good luck! I hope it all works out well.
I want to so a masters in counselling psychology, and I love anything regarding social psychology and social constructionism. I don't know if you ever studied it, but if not I'd recommend having a look into it! It's so so interesting and really changes how you look at things in the world. I could go on forever about it
Awesome. I want to go to my masters to get my LPC. I'm not sure yet if I want to do play therapy or not yet. My interest is adolescent and young adult. I know I need to get experience before I go to masters. Its just been hard for me. Trying to find a job in something psychology but at the same time I feel not ready for those types of job. I would love to work in a mental hospital as a mental health tech but its such long hours and I just don't know if Im ready for such a professional job if thats what what you call it. I work at a dog boarding/daycare place right now. So what are you interested in doing ?
Hey! I see on your profile you've got a degree in psychology. I graduated with a degree in the same subject this year. I'd be interested to know what areas you're most interested in?
