Personally, I never use any formal avenues of support when I seek the serious insight of others - under those circumstances, one almost always receive generic responses - I can't count the number of times where I used to call hotlines or online alternatives such as Live Help and get extremely frustrated with all the 'it sounds like you're depressed, why don't you go talk to your parents or a school counsellor?' stuff until I gave up completely. Granted, these responses are popular for a reason - they work on most people - but coming from a different experience, I really want to at least offer the presence of an unconventional perspective, if anything in the other person suggests the ability to appreciate one - something I never really got, in times when it would have really helped pull me out of the same endless circle.

You can always come to me, if you ever need someone to talk to. If it means anything, you should know that you are not alone - doubt and fear of the future is something I struggle with every day as well. Reading your posts are somewhat comforting, in that sense.
