- i'm jamie. im 18, not your typical blonde, and i have a snappy green car, a pomeranian named shotzie, a cat named wormy, and a lip ring. i grew up in a house with 15+ cats, so i know a lot about the mannerisms of cats. i have no idea where thats gonna get me in life, but i suppose it was meant for something. i'm an artist, specializing in portraits and caricatures, and have been winning awards since 2nd grade. i live with my boyfriend, whom i might be marrying this summer. i play a little guitar and keyboards, though i'm self taught and not that good, but good enough to play songs. some of my favorite bands/singers are the doors, creedence clearwater revival, staind, tool, korn, jason mraz, muck sticky, pink floyd, and third eye blind. i'm a recovering drug addict/alcoholic, and am active in AA/NA meetings. i used drugs ranging from scripts to opiates to meth, and drank heavily from age 14 to age 17. i started cutting at age 12, and stopped after i got out of treatment. i used to be awfuly depressed, attempting to take my own life multiple times, which i'm glad i didnt succeed at. throughout school, i was the quiet one with multi-colored hair (pink mainly) that always smelled like alcohol.. at my worst, i was drinking every night, and shooting up morphine in the bathrooms 3 times in a school day. after i got out of treatment, i have helped out many of my friends with their problems, even helping a few to sober up. even after all the shit that went down in my early-mid teen years, i can honestly say that i'm happier than i've ever been. :D
