I'm keeping to a sycamore/maple leaf shape. I'm trying to avoid highlighting my eyes because I wear dark eyeliner in 'real life'. Although, on second thoughts that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be easy to identify because of having eye-specific makeup in both real life and on the channel. I'll look into improving the makeup around the eyes, in that case.

Not a proper cosplay, no. I'd love to, but I'm still working up the courage to even ask someone to go with them.

On that note, can I ask for your help with something? I run a YouTube channel and I'm about to take a hiatus so I can do a huge overhaul of everything. One thing I want to improve is my face paint. I wear face paint so that I'm hard to identify in real life (in real life I wear my hair differently, and in my videos I wear dark contact lenses too). But I think my face paint could look better than it does.

I'm thinking of getting darker green paint to go on the top of the 'leaf' mask shape but I wonder if that will make the mask not defined enough. That said, I'm not convinced the brown markings look quite right. Any ideas?
