Therr is actually a generic of both the pill and the orally disentegrating tablet (odt). The generic is ondansteron. Of course unless your doctor writes for name brand only most pharmacies will fill the generic as it saves both them and you money. Your doctor will decide which form of the medicine you should use. At one point my morning sickness was so bad that neither the pill or distentegrating tablet worked so my doctor gave me zofran through iv.
