- You were great last night. Thanks so much for putting up with my weird headspace recently.

- Do you know what, I know I felt crap about it this morning but I'm feeling better about it now. I'm glad you apologised. I wouldn't usually expect that kind of behaviour from you to be honest. And it was really nice being out with you last night - I really appreciated you looking after me, and being in bed together was really nice in a cosy safe kind of way. Whatever about what happened afterwards. Even though that was nice too. But it was good to hang out and good to hear friendly things from you.
