Nooooo, don't get my hopes up and then bail...... I was so excited about this little trip. I didn't get to go last time and God only knows when there'll be a next time.
If this is just because he didn't text you back, who cares? You're 22 and beautiful and don't need to have your life dictated by a boy. I thought you were better than that.... really. Don't let that get your in way and make that selfishly mean that I can't go either  Just come along and have fun, and let's catch up, I miss living with you!
