You know what? Stop. Stop trying, stop pretending. You're acting like everything is the same, but everyone knows it isn't, so just stop. He's going to be leaving, and you both should realize that this is just prolonged heartache. You're just making it bad for everyone, so just stop.
You're not very good at faking normal.
