I moved this over to Technology and Gaming because you're asking about webcams.

Are you buying it for him? Why can't he buy himself his own webcam? I don't advise buying someone you've never met or even seen anything, it's not safe and you could easily be buying it for someone who just wants your money. If you meant that it's for you though, I've had good luck with my Logitech webcam.
