My logical, reasonable judgment of your character just slipped. If that's even possible anymore.
How could you not tell your own mother, the woman carried you in her own womb for nine months, that you had lost your job? I can only imagine how C is feeling right now, reading over your status and informing your father that you're 1500 miles away without a job. But, oh, you might get a job.
