I'm sure they do. But the question remains, just how much does Amazon know about us? I understand that it's a massive online retailer getting larger all the while high street shops remain closed throughout the covid crisis in some countries, and sure, Amazon's programs are impressive. I won't hvae an Alexa or any of such Artificial Intelligence-operated devices in my home because the things listen. Even when switched off. Evidence becomes apparent when advertisements appear online not long after friends of ours had been discussing certain products. They also mentioned feeling spooked hearing their Alexa chuckle. For no reason at all. Since that unsettling experience they unplugged their Alexa and binned it.
