Slow Cooker Bolognese Sauce, Homemade Pasta... - February 13th 2021, 11:57 AM

I found this wonderful recipe on my browser's page: Recipe: Slow Cooker Bolognese Sauce

or the excellent

Italian-style Bolognese (Ragł)

You don't have to use spaghetti. It could be any type of pasta, and if you ever want to make it, it's easy enough. Instead of buying an expensive pasta machine, simply cut layered strips with a large, sharp cook's knife!

How To Make Fresh Pasta From Scratch

Freshly made pasta is incredibly easy and super-cheap to make. 3rd time in and you'll know the recipe by heart. Our maman has a wonderful paperback called Italian Pizzas and Hearth Breads by Elizabeth Romer. It's cheaply available from abebooks.com or abebooks.co.uk if you live in the UK, or any second-hand bookshop to order. Don't even look at amazon uk. The price they charge for Elizabeth Romer's cookbook is extortionate!

Or, if you're short of time, do a jacket potato or two in the oven. Even jacket spuds are sensational with Bolognaise Rugu. Just don't forget the Parmesan!
