Polls can be wrong, but Haley was never as big of a contender as Desantis. Desantis dropped the race when his polling declined in the past few months and started to be about the same as Haley's while Trump maintains a clear lead in the double digits. Even if states were to drop him from the ballot, it would be liberal states where he wouldn't win regardless.
