field trip - May 30th 2025, 10:30 AM

So I'm a seventh grader, going into eighth very shortly, and I have my music field trip today. I don't know if this is the right category to put this under, but I'm missing ALL of school today for the trip. We're leaving at 8 am and coming back at 8 pm. I'm a little nervous because we're so close to the end of the school year and I missed so much time this year(55 days). Teachers aren't doing regular classes today but some of my teachers are making us do the work we missed while we were on the trip as homework. We're going to six flags, so that's exciting. I'm also nervous because I've never been to six flags! It is currently 2:31am and I have school at 7:55 am(bus is 7:25), but yeah. I'm nervous because I have to skadadle to homeroom, go straight to the orchestra room, practice for the music clinician, and then eat our lunch so we can actually GO to six flags. And I have my 504 plan that whenever I'm not in the building or going to my "off the floors" (WL/RA/PE/orchestra) there has to be a staff with me at ALL times. So my shaporne is only mine I believe and nobody else's because he only got added to the list of staff there until I was there. His direction was I could do what I wanted at the freaking park but he had to keep eyes on me. I have a past with self-harming, running away, and using my phone at inappropriate times, so my father just wants to keep me safe with that as my 504 plan. It's annoying as hell and I hate it. My parents said it'll change for eighth grade though.

I can't help but repeat myself
"I know it's not your fault"
Still lately, I begin to shake
For no reason at all
