While it's fair that you're grounded for being suspended, it seems strange that your parents aren't allowing you to study or take the exams. Maybe you can talk to them and make some other arrangements. Let them know that you really want to do well in school, even though you made this mistake, and that your grades will become bad if you don't take your exams or do your final projects. If you meant that it's the school blocking you from doing this I'd call them and see what arrangements can be made.
Maybe you can also make an arrangement about the piano, such as doing extra chores around the house to slowly "make up" for the cost of the piano. $20,000 is a lot to owe someone. Maybe she will become more lenient if you don't get into any more trouble between now and the end of the school year as well.
