Maybe you can call the school and see what their perspective is? You can ask to speak with a guidance counselor or the principal. They might be able to talk sense into your mom if they explain that you’ll have more issues if you don’t pass your exams and projects. School is super important, and while you did make a mistake it’s something you learn from and you aren’t a bad person for making it. I’m sure you could have done much worse!

I’m sorry your parents don’t believe your goals either. Engineering is an amazing goal and I think you’d do great with it! Don’t listen to them when they put you down. It’s motivation to prove them wrong.
