Parents & chronic fatigue? - Yesterday, 09:02 PM

Hello all
I dont know if this falls exactly under mental health, but i suspect i may have chronic fatigue. I've looked through the ssymptoms online and some of them like not feeling very well rested after sleep somtimes, feeling incredibly tired after physical activity and generally not having a lot of energy, that of which is quickly depleted.

I did tell my mom and my doctor, but the suggestions theyve given me include trying a diet, going outside more and breathing deeply every day. Not to be rude, but those definitely do NOT help at all. And ive already had two bloodtests regarding this that came out relatively normal, albeit with a slight vit D deficiency but since im already taking vitamin D supplements, it was fixed in the most recent test.

I just wanted to talk somewhere about how frustrated this is making me feel, especially the approach my mother is taking to this. I told her, i always feel tired and its getting incredibly annoying, i cant get the stuff i need to finish done. But, the way she puts it, i'm CHOOSING to have such fatigue. She said, "i have a pain in my knee, and either i can find a solution or keep whinging about it"... she basically thinks im either doing this to myself or just complaining unnecessarily about it. I showed her that chronic fatigue often doesnt have a root cause, if that makes sense, snd she told me thats bs and she doesnt want to talk about it anymore.. she literally asked "do you WANT chronic fatigue?" when i cant choose it??

She does this with everything she doesnt agree with, it frustrstes me infinitely. I cant even talk to her about anything.

Shes even been somewhat adamant about the fatigue being my fault at the doctor's, and i feel that she is not on my side-- im genuinely tired for 'no reason' and she believes everything can be cured.

Anyways sorry for the long rant. I hope you have a great day!
