Re: Parents & chronic fatigue? - June 23rd 2026, 12:56 AM

Hi there, I don't have any advice but I can definitely relate! I feel tired all the time, no matter how much rest I get. I should be eating better and getting more exercise, but that feels impossible with chronic fatigue and pain. I wish I could say something that would help you show your mother the seriousness, but I don't have anything to offer. Unfortunately, your mother is from a different generation that said "suck it up and get it done" or something similar. But you know what's going on with you, and it's best for you to keep a daily record of how you're feeling, the symptoms you have, and anything else you've done to try to improve the chronic fatigue -- so you can get the diagnosis from your doctor and begin the appropriate treatment. Wishing you the best of luck!
