I might've done pumpkin carving as a kid, but it can get very messy. I hate getting messy. I don't buy real pumpkins because they don't last long and begin to smell. Instead, I have a whole bunch of fake/ornamental pumpkins or pumpkin-like objects throughout my apartment between September and November.
