Unfortunately, rape is an effective weapon of war. It allows someone to have greater control over another human being. In general, women are seen as caregivers and whatnot, so rape allows an enemy to control society in horrific ways. I hope that makes some sense.
How did Mandela get the will to surpass the everyday,
When injustice had him caged and trapped in every way,
How did Ghandi ever withstand the hunger strikes and all,
