Dude, he's a jerk. Please don't go back out with him. He sounds like the most unhealthy person to be in a relationship with ever, and I'm not trying to criticize it for you in the least because I'm sure it started out great [they all tend to..] but my gosh, I hate what he was doing to you. That's simply not fair to you at all..

There are better people out there for you. You don't have to compromise yourself to be loved, because you deserve so much better than he ever gave you. So, stay true to yourself and hang in there - better things are on the way.
