I agree with everyone that says to wait on a hip tattoo.

I have a tattoo on my right lower stomach but I was lucky during my pregnancy and didn't get any stretch marks and my tat didn't stretch.

However I'm also a freak of nature when it comes to pregnancy lol. Waiting is your best bet... other wise you take the risk of ending up with some nasty looking ink >.>
