Re: Good Recipe books - August 10th 2009, 10:15 PM

When I went to uni my mum bought me 'Sam Stern's Student Cookbook'. To be honest I was a bit put off by the fact that it was actually a 'student' cookbook. I know that might sound a little odd, but there was just something about it that I wasn't sure of but it's actually really good! It's got loads of different things in it; from breakfasts, to sandwich ideas, parts to make up a full meal [i.e. a Mexican, Indian etc] and deserts. It's simple to follow as well. She picked it up from The Works - I don't know if you've heard of it, but it sells really cheap books, and does great offers so it's worth looking there
