I know how hard it can be to trust after someone has left you or hurt you, but the fact is, your counselor can really help you. It's a 50/50 chance of her getting the police involved, but I don't think she will. And even if she does, I'm not sure what all they can do about it.
I think you should tell her, but that's just my opinion. You've already heard it through our messaging.
