The general term for belief in a non-specific deity that created the universe is "deism." Basically, it means someone who believe in some kind of higher power, but doesn't actually subscribe to any religious code or beliefs, and doesn't generally claim to have any knowledge of what that creator might be like. So hopefully that will either help you figure out where you fit on the religious spectrum, or at least give you a jumping-off point to do more research of your own.

The atoms that make up you and me were born in the hearts of suns many times greater than ours, and in time our atoms will once again reside amongst the stars.
