T1 diabetes - May 15th 2011, 11:23 PM

heya,
i have had type 1 diabetes for 12 1/2 years, but dont seem to be able to control t. and when i do everything i am meant to, and it goes wrong and i end up in hospital, it really makes me wonder why i put so much effort in. the doctors dont know why its not got any better, but i ave come to a point when i just want to tell it where to go, because i have so much else going on in my life, and i have seriously had enough of it, all the injecting, checking my blood sugar levels, counting all the grams of carbs i eat, for what? just to be ill? so was just wondering if anyone else has type 1, and can offer some advice/support?
xx
