It all depends really. If you're looking for it to have that square background, then I would say probably your shoulder. Somewhere relatively flat, but that's just my opinion. Also, if it's your first tattoo make sure you get somewhere that is more "meaty" and not so bony. I don't have any tattoos yes, but a lot of friends have had them, and going over the bone is apparently the worst part.

Also, be careful on how long your tattoo will take. Depending on your pain threshold you might not be able to cope with a long sitting, but really it all depends on the individual.

Also, square/rectangle tattoos look really good on your forearm. I think anyway. Sort of between your wrist and elbow crease.
