[Killionaire]

It's the only one I can get. I'm going to be working as a Clerk for a rather "busy" CVS for six days a week, including holidays. I'll be paid $8.50 or $9.00 an hour. Thanks to some ties to the management, I'll be promoted to doing Photo processing in a short while. I was forced into taking this job because I graduated High School and (unfortunately) have to skip a semester or two at College due to an error with financial aid. There's nothing else available, and I don't want to look like a freeloader/basement dweller. I have the most amount of hours of anyone in the store despite probably being the youngest person there, and there's no doubt that other people need those hours more than I do.

As my family keeps telling me, apparently the ultimate goal of getting a job is so that I can get a car.....but I don't really do anything. I've never been a social butterfly so I wouldn't need to drive anywhere, and even with the car aside, I don't really spend money on anything. I try to eat as little food and use as little electricity/water as I can in the house. (Unplugging everything in my room when I'm out, taking short showers, etc.) I know that saving my money will be beneficial, but I just don't see that as justifying having no free time to myself. The way my shifts are set up is that I'll only have free time very early in the morning and very late at night. I can't really pursue a hobby due to having no free time.

Also, the greedy part of me wants to blow my paychecks on stupid crap like video games, a MacBook, computer parts, etc. but I know it's irresponsible and it'll get me nowhere.
