Yep it does line up the numbers perfectly which is why its the one always used for code (well its the preset in most languages and you can change it if you want which is why I described it as the 'traditional' font cant think of a beter word for it)
Also there are some others that do line up to...

I know what you mean, it is permanent... which is why I said make it important to you. I think they are all nice phrases just try and work out which one you relate to most.

And the numbers are in binary code. Google
