It's great that you want to work with kids! I do and it's such a rewarding thing. Don't be worried about one getting hurt though. Just take a few minutes right now to think about good ways to handle different situations. Make a list of all the things that you know you'll be able to do if you run into a sticky situation. Knowing how to handle something before it comes up will help you to feel more at ease if you ever do need to put your solutions to practice.
