Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face. - August 16th 2012, 10:56 PM

Dear Mom,
I want you to know how much I love you before I tell you this. And I want you to know that it hurt me keeping it from you. There never seemed to be a right time to say something.
I'm transgender.
I know youre thinking "You're to young," "This is just a phase," or, "You just want to 'be popular." But thats not the case. I hate it when you use female pronouns and when you get on me about wearing guy clothing. I know you don't mean to hurt e, but sometimes I feel cornered when you say, "You're still a girl, so whee female clothing." and feel as if I can't tell you. Sometimes I cry.
I feel uncomfortable when you make me wear dresses and be girly with you, I feel so fake, so plastic. Please, just accept and let me be myself! I really want you to love me for me!
Please don't hurt me.
