You're right Faith. If you were gone the world would just keep going on without you. We're still going to be here, we're going to move on, we're going to keep living our lives.

But it's no different for you than for anyone else. The world doesn't end when any one person dies. It doesn't mean we won't care. It doesn't mean we won't be sad. We would miss you. We would wonder if there was anything else we could have done. A lot of us would never forget you, even if we don't know much about you.

I used to talk to a kid online a long time ago, and we would write fanfics and articles for our favorite videogame together. I never met him, never knew anything about him besides his screenname and his age, and one day he was just gone. I still think about him and I still miss him, and I still wonder if he's ok, if he's out there somewhere.

You can't justify wanting to die because we would live on. It has nothing to do with how much we do or don't care. Life is for the living. No one can spend their entire life worrying about those who have passed. You're just a tiny part of this world we all live in. But we're all tiny parts, and we're all just as important as each other.

Wouldn't matter to who? To the universe? Who knows... I like to think that whatever powers may be have put us here and kept us each alive this far because it's the way the universe is supposed to be. So you taking your own life when you're meant to be here does matter to the universe.

It matters to a lot of people here. Some of the people here know you and talk to you quite often. Others, like me, have only spoken to you a few times. Some haven't ever said anything to you. But most of us can agree that it matters if you die. If we as humans have nothing else in the world, we have opportunities. We have a chance to do something with life. You taking your chance away matters.

Will the world turn completely upside down if you die? Probably not. It wouldn't if I died either. That's completely unrelated to how much your life is worth though. There's a lot I can do with my life. There are so many people I will come in contact with, and in one way or another, even in some tiny, unrecognizable way, I will affect them. You affect us too. You affect everyone you meet.

So the world would keep going on just fine if you die. So what? It'll keep going on just fine if you're alive too, and then at least you can be here to play your part and see how it all plays out.

So reschedule. This isn't some appointment you have to keep because everything is set up. This is your life. You need to give yourself a little more worth. Stop worrying how much you mean to this giant world we live in. That doesn't matter. You're here; you deserve to be here. If you didn't deserve life, you sure wouldn't be given the power to take it away yourself. That would have been done for you without any decision on your part. So realize just how much power and how much OPPORTUNITY you have and use it to LIVE instead of using it to die! If you use it to live, you get to use it over and over and over again and who knows how much you can accomplish and how much importance you can create for yourself! If you use it to die, you lose it, and you've gained nothing from having it at all.

In order to make that statement, you have to consider, witness, and experience everything possible in life. I doubt you have done that. Just because you feel empty right now doesn't mean there's nothing out there that you can't find happiness in. Sometimes it's not even that you have to find new things, but rather that you have to find new ways to look at old things. That's life. I personally find it amazing to see a new side of something. That feeling of epiphany and enlightenment just looking at something more deeply and with an open mind is enough to make life worth it all on its own.

Then stop thinking of life as "holding on" to something. It's so much more than that. It's creating, destroying, changing, fixing, listening, speaking, searching, waiting, holding on, AND letting go. Instead of holding on to your problems and letting go of your opportunities, let go of your hopelessness and your apathy towards life and hold on to the chance you have to do everything else.
