Can insecurity be a disability?

Hi, I'm just wondering if it's a disability that I can be really insecure about myself (which doesn't help me make many friends :( )

I'm not so sure that being insecure is a disability in itself. However, major depression (and part of that can be low self-esteem) can be very disabling. It really depends on how much it impairs your life and day to day functioning.

Insecurity can be a product of depression or anxiety, which are both mental illnesses and can be classified as a disability. If it is affecting your life, then I think it is legit and real and definitely a thing. Maybe you can explore various mental illnesses online and see if any of them are identifiable in your own life and perhaps you can seek out a therapist or doctor if you need a diagnoses.

Go out there and be yourself don't worry what people think we are all unique. If people judge you cause you have a disability then they aren't really worth your time
