Re: addiction to porn

Hi, I came very close to a porn addiction - perhaps it was an addiction at one point - so I know how hard it is to avoid.

I'd like to recommend you go to wwwDOTno-pornDOTcom. (Sorry I need more posts to use proper hyperlinks.) I wasn't and still am not old enough to join but the posts on the support board were inspiring and helped me steer away from porn. Good luck - you'll need it.

I suggest talking to somebody before the problem gets even worse. Even if it's an addiction to pornography, it's still an addiction and there is help available for it. Also, quitting cold turkey usually doesn't work. A professional opinion may be helpful to you. Try talking to a doctor, parent, friend, or somebody else.

Re: addiction to porn

I would say to put some kind of block on your computer or maybe even have someone else put it on for you password protected. This will keep you from going to porn sites.

As for buying porn a good option is to not always have ID on you that way if the place cards (since you are only just old enough they might) you will not be able to buy it.

Get professional help. It may be embarrassing; but it has already developed into a huge problem and can only get worse with time.
