How do you cope being angry/upset?
 
What are some positive methods you guys learned on how to cope with being angry and/or upset? I take deep breaths, walk away from the situation, and then usually just listen to music or watch YouTube.

What are some of your ways to cope with anger?

I try to talk to people when I need to or watch something on TV.

This is a really good thread.

I usually write and listen to music. I try and solve the issue that is making me upset in order to be able to not be feeling upset or angry anymore.

Thanks! I am trying to think of subjects / topics for this forum still! I need to think more on this. :D

I love that you write and listen to music. I used to also like writing but fell out of it.

I enjoy writing, especially about whatever it is that's making me angry. It's so nice to let out that energy and tension in a healthy way. Also, if the weather is nice outside, I enjoy going for a walk or going to the gym to burn off that tension.
