Weight loss support

Hey, former member here with a new account. I had my first injection of the weight loss drug Zepbound last Thursday. Right after taking it I felt wigged out but no negative symptoms at first. Anyways, I'm looking for support as I take this journey and I have no idea where to turn! I didn't really want to come back here but here I am. I asked for support on a Discord server I'm in the other day but gotten no response. Is there any resources that I can reach out to? I deactivated my Facebook account a couple weeks ago but I'm still on Instagram and Discord.

I have so many questions, concerns, and I just want the support from others who have gone through the same thing.

Re: Weight loss support

I don’t think a lot of people here have been on it but a friend of mine has been on it for a while and has lost weight. He’s found he has to eat smaller meals throughout the day sometimes versus all at once. It may help to see a dietician to get some eating help so the meds do their job optimally.

Re: Weight loss support

Thank you for your response Dez. It's been challenging the further I go from the injection date. I feel my appetite returning and it's very strong. This is something I began to notice after I had a surgery this spring, no appetite during recovery and then it came back all at once but a hundred times worse. I feel discouraged right now but those on another platform dedicated to Zepbound support says that's normal.

I think if there's no more responses in the next week or so, this thread can be closed. :)

Re: Weight loss support

Im underweight and cannot take it even though it would likely improve my tendency to drink very heavily. You can expect a decrease in desire for alcohol as well as reduced weight (good if you are over). You are using healthy and supervised methods of controlling your weight and that is wonderful.
