Addiction

As I sit here and bleed,
I wonder where I am suppose to be,
Never did I think that this would be me,

But as each day goes by,
The more and more I cry,
The deeper I go through my skin,
Crying from within,

So you can stitch me up and staple me back together again,
But never will the pain inside me disappear from my sin,
As each and every single day goes by,
You take my blood and make me cry,

I'll fight the thoughts in my head,
But the urges will always begin again,
Until I hold the blade and cut through my body,
Wondering where this addiction will end.

This is quite emotional and tells how addictive self-harm can get. I'm sorry you're going through this. Hang in there, you are strong enough to beat this addiction. :hug:
