12? Honestly just tell your parents if you cant stop. It is young enough that they will just see it as a blip and the sooner you can get over this, the better. You arent even a teen yet. Its not like you are 16 and they can stop allowing you to have a car. You are 12, so there will probably just be some shock and and a lecture with mild punishment, thats it.

my parents are extremely strict and I doubt it would be a mild punishment, speaking for the fact for the past four months I've been in and out of the hospital
