Ice cube trays food

For all of you good mummys out there that use ice cube trays to freeze vegies etc. in, how do you store it in the freezer?
Do you just leave it uncovered or do you cover the trays with something?
Im just about to start freezing some different vegies and would be interested to hear how everybody else does it!

I'm not a mother, but when I make smoothie pops for my family, friends and for the camp I worked at. What I do is stick it straight in until it's completly frozen and the put the frozen treat into a baggie or container.

Hey.
An interesting approach to the preparation of children's food. I am mother and I will cook as you do. My son will go to school. [Edited]
Thank you for the attention.

There are silicone ice trays that work so much better. Its much easier to get the food out with silicone than a hard plastic. If you have the ability to do so, I recommend getting that instead, to make life easier! And often times, you can find ones with lids! But you don't have to use a lid if you don't want to pay for that feature.

Hey! I am not a mother yet but I am preparing and I have already found someone who is a mother and writes everything in her blog for children. I have already learned a lot of news and useful information from her and it is just the beginning ... [Edited]

Hey, do you mean like, juiced veggies or chunky veggies? Or pureed? Also, what purpose are you using them for?
When my son was in the teething stage I would put frozen berries in a mesh teether. As a general note though, I would seal or cover all food in the freezer. It will protect it from frost burn and will prevent it from tasting like freezer! I know this post is from a ways back, but hopefully you got it figured out! :D
